  • Although you are now ready to use the program. You will still need to be able to connect the phone in order to perform any useful operations. When you plug the cable, Windows will show a balloon dialog box “USB Universal Cable UC-10”. Now it will ask you for the driver.
  • Now, follow the steps like what you did with the driver installation for the USB dongle. Except, of course, you need to choose a different driver, that is, the one for the USB Universal Cable UC-10.
  • Once you finished installing this driver, Windows will quickly detect another device called “USB Serial Port” and ask you for the driver.
  •  Now continue to install this driver in similar fashion to the last one and using the same directory. It should detect “Cruiser Team Universal USB DC-10 Cable”. Once you finished, it should show successful status in a balloon dialog.
  • Because the DC-10 cable is an USB-to-serial emulator, it will be listed as a COM port in the Device Manager. You need to know what COM port it is in order to use the SEMC Tool later.
